The Maya-School "Ixmukane" in Guatemala was founded in 1994 by the von Brauck Foundation (family managed). We currently teach/help approximately 200 pupils how to better themselves in a country that is marked by poverty and oppression but influenced by the positive characteristics of the Maya Culture. One hundred percent of all donations that we receive from sponsorships or from Dentists (donating gold teeth) and Handys (sales from recycled mobile phones) go to the school project. We work in a charitable manner in that we do not have salaries for Directors and we have no Administrative Expenses. This unique aspect sets us apart from other charitable organizations.

With just 280 Euros a year, we are able to help a child with their education and basic health care.
